To the Summer Reading Club
Reading List
(9th – 12th Graders)
Begins: June 16 – August 18
FOCUS: To continually improve reading for standardized testing and build a college ready culture at Frank H. Peterson.
Students who elect to participate in this summer reading project will read four books from the list, complete a reader response log for each book and write an essay about one of the books. Students may participate in a blog each Wednesday at 11:00am. Students may contact their reader leader by email during the week. All books must be read and written work completed by freshman orientation or August 18. Students will deliver paperwork to Ms. Buchanan in the main office.
